Bryan McCrystal tamed the Beast on Sunday in what was an amazing triumph, by gaining more than 6 minutes in his 40km cycle over Wicklow’s steep hills to put him first across the finish line.
The “Beast of the East” Wicklow’s annual triathlon in lough Dan took place Sunday the 24th of July 2011 sponsored by the Big Red Cloud.
Big Red Cloud would like to thank and congratulate all participants in taking part and completing the Wicklow Triathlon on Sunday. It was a great turn out and a credit to Wicklow Triathlon Club in what was a great race and a well organised event.
We would also like to thank race director Paul O’Connor from Base 2 Race, and all of Wicklow Triathlon Race Marshals and members, ChipIT who electronically monitored the time trials and to The Brew Crew for supplying coffee and light snacks.
