Big Red Cloud recently had the chance to sit down with Geraldine from Office Assist, an office services company to talk running a business and what makes her tick when she gets a moment to herself.
BRB: Tell us about Office Assist?
Geraldine: We provide a service that covers all office administration and bookkeeping for customers. We also do off the street printing and typing etc.
BRB: Who is your favourite business hero and why?
Geraldine: Michael O’Leary, he’s the best business mind that I know of.
BRB: What’s your favourite app on your smartphone / tablet and why?
Geraldine: I would have to say Facebook because its very relaxing to go on after a hard days work.
BRB: Tell us your favourite film?
Geraldine: It would have to be Beethoven. I love dogs and you have to love Beethoven!
BRB: If you had to give one piece of advice to someone starting up in business; what would it be?
Geraldine: I would say go to your local Enterprise Board for advice and Start Your own Business Course. Register for Vat from the very beginning to avoid any issues later on.
BRB: Can you tell us about one particular time when you pulled out all the stops and went out of your way for a customer?
Geraldine: Yes, Once we had a customer that came to us with boxes full of paper, we didn’t know where to start but we got there in the end.
