Payroll can notify you each time an update is available. As Payroll is a real-time PAYE reporting application, updates should be run without delay as they are required to ensure that Payroll and ROS remain synchronised, as well as to allow fixes and improvements to be installed.
Should you not get this ‘Update Available’ notification when opening Payroll you should check the Help Menu in Payroll under Help > Check for Update and click the option to ‘Switch On Auto Check’.
